Entry Pathways
There are multiple ways to earn your spot at the Million Dollar Breakaway. Choose the pathway that fits your journey.
VRQ Qualification
Compete throughout the year to earn your ranking on the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier leaderboard. The top 20 qualifiers earn their invitation to the MDB. Nomination fee of $150.
Traditional Qualifiers
Qualify through designated live events including the First Chance Qualifier, Summer Qualifier, Fall Qualifier, Oklahoma's Richest, and the Last Chance Qualifier. Top finishers at each event earn direct entry into the MDB Semi-Finals.
Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)
A final opportunity to qualify held during MDB week. Open entry for $500. Top finishers advance directly to the Semi-Finals for a shot at the $1,000,000 competition.
Buy Back
Contestants who do not advance from the LCQ may purchase a buy back entry for $500 for another chance to compete in the Semi-Finals round.
