Up-to-date Coggins are required in order to compete
Entry Fees must be paid in full, and contestant must be in good standing with CN Productions, Women’s Rodeo, and Kimes Ranch before competing.
Contestant must wear provided back number while competing or will be disqualified.
Contestant must be in full western attire while competing or to be on arena floor.
No one on the arena floor except contestants, judges & event personnel. (Must be in Western attire)
10 second penalty for broken barrier or if contestant beats the barrier.
Judge has the right to add 10 second penalty if barrier malfunctions in any way and judge feels it is obvious contestant beats or breaks the barrier.
Bell Collar catch is mandatory in order to receive a qualified time. Bell Collar catch is determined from where catch loop is when contestants rope breaks from the saddle horn.
Bell collar catch defines as NO appendages in loop. Loop must be above calves knees and rope must be in front of hip bone on calves back when rope breaks from the saddle horn. Rope must draw up tight on calf and break string from the saddle horn to be a legal catch loop.
Must use nylon string provided by Million Dollar Breakaway Judges.
Roper must have flag tied to the very end of rope. Roper can’t break rope from horn with her hand.
25 second time limit.
No rattling of chute gates or box gates. No form of outside help of any kind other than a calf pusher.
Instant replay will be in effect for Bell-Collar Catch & Barrier. (MDB Finals Only)
45 second time limit in box. Time starts once barrier is pinned and arena is clear for the contestant.
If calf gets out or lays down in chute contestant must run the designated extra.
Contestant must supply your own calf pusher. Pusher must be in western attire.
Judges call is final.
Contestant can’t compete in the WRWC Challenger Showcase and the MDB.
If calf ducks back before the score line, falls down before the score line or fails to break the neck rope for any reason contestant will receive an automatic re-run penalty free.
If fouled by the neck-rope on calf, contestant will receive a re-run. If contestant breaks the barrier during this situation contestant will have a 10 second penalty on re-run option.
Judges have the right to give an automatic disqualification for any misconduct in or out of the arena and for any animal abuse.
Cheating of any kind or attempts to cheat will result in an automatic disqualification.
Top 15 contestants for the final 4 rounds will be determined from the top 12 money earners and the top 3 from the aggregate standings on 6 head. If the top 3 in the aggregate are already within the top 12 money earners we will continue with top money earners through 15th position.
CN Productions Events Draw Guidelines
All Draw Outs before entry deadline will receive a 90% refund of the actual entry fee only.
All Draw Outs after entry deadline and before 10 days prior to event will receive an 80% refund of the actual entry fee only
All Draw Outs 10 days or less prior to event will NOT be refunded.
The $5 transaction fee and Stripe Fees (Credit Card Processing Fee) and CN Productions $40 Office Fee and NOT refundable

Riata Bonus Money:$10,000 at each qualifier, plus a $20,000 Finals bonus.

Finals Bonus -Million Dollar Breakaway Finals
$20,000 Riata Bonus:Awarded to the highest-earning nominated Riata horse(s) at the Finals, regardless of how they qualified.
In the event only one nominated horse qualifies, that horse will receive the full $20,000.
If no nominated Riata horses earn money in the Finals we will drop to highest ranking based on aggregate time.
If no nominated Riata horses qualify for the Finals: The $20,000 bonus will be awarded to the highest earning nominated Riata horse(s) from the 2025 Semi-finals.
Payout amounts are based on participation, with a maximum of five paid positions. Prize money must be earned by receiving a qualified time and cannot be awarded solely based on participation.
To be eligible, horses must be officially nominated into the Riata program prior to the event. Finalists must enter the side pot for declaration at RiataBuckle.com.
